MONTEREY, Calif.- The Shocker women's golf team hits the
road to participate in the Del Monte Invitational March 18-20. Drake and
Missouri State host the three-day tournament.
The tournament will be played at Del Monte Golf Course,
which is one of the prestigious Pebble Beach courses.
The Shockers are coming off a 13th place finish
at the Rio Verde Invitational in Rio Verde, Ariz. last weekend. The team
finished with a 32-over 950 for the tournament. Junior Gretchen Huhnerkoch left
the tournament with a 6th place finish, shooting an 11-over 224.
After the Del Monte Invitational, the Shockers will head to Hot Springs, Ark. to participate in the UALR Women's
Golf Classic March 26-27.
