WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita State Black squad used a five-run 10th inning to defeat the Gold 12-9 and win the 2012 Shocker Fall World Series.
Johnny Coy went 2-for-5 with four RBI for the Black, while Tyler Baker went 2-for-5 with three RBI. Reliever Aaron LaBrie earned the win.
Chase Simpson went 4-for-6 with three RBI for the Gold. Reliever Kyle Vail took the loss.
