The new-look Shockers return seven players from 2025:
Of the remaining 31 players new to the Shocker Baseball program, 14 are transfers from other four-year schools:
16 newcomers come to Wichita from the junior college ranks:
Green and the Shockers have added just one true freshman to the roster, left-handed pitcher
Ethan Rogers. The southpaw from Lone Jack, Missouri was selected by the Detroit Tigers in the 18th round of the 2025 MLB Draft, but elected not to sign. Rogers was recognized by D1Baseball as the #57-ranked freshman to arrive on campus and the #1-ranked freshman pitcher in the American Conference. All told, Wichita State will have 15 seniors, 19 juniors, two sophomores and two freshmen among their 38 players.
