FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Wichita State completed the final day of the 2011 RazorRacket Classic with a morning session against Oklahoma State. It was the fourth and final session of the three-day tournament for the Shockers and the second time they faced the Cowboys. The Shocks also faced UMKC and Arkansas in the RazorRacket.
The Cowboys and Shockers split two doubles matches and four singles matches on Sunday morning. Junior
Matheus Pereira defeated Trevor Horstmann, 6-1, 6-0 to wrap up a perfect singles record for the weekend at 4-0. Pereira teamed with Juan Estenossoro in an 8-2 win over Horstmann and Chris Haworth.
Next action for the Shockers will be at the 2011 ITA All-Americans in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The All-Americans will begin on Saturday, Oct. 1.
