WICHITA, Kan. -Wichita State baseball players Josh Smith and
Cale Elam have been named to Baseball America's Top Summer Prospect List.
Senior left-handed pitcher Josh Smith was named the top
prospect in the Jayhawk League, while sophomore right-handed pitcher Cale Elam
was named the third-best prospect in the Jayhawk League. Both pitched for the Liberal Beejays
this summers.
In 2011, Smith went 7-4 with a 3.00 ERA for the Shockers,
while Elam went 4-1 with a 1.23 ERA and five saves.
