WICHITA -- Fresh off a solid performance at the Stanford Invitational and Bobby Lane/UT Arlington Invitational, the Wichita State University track & field teams will travel to Austin, Tex., for the Texas Relays on Wednesday, Mar. 31, and then head to Emporia State on Saturday, Apr. 3.
The Texas Relays run from Wednesday through Saturday and are held at the Mike A. Myers Stadium on the campus of the University of Texas. Freshman thrower Megan Fuller etched her name in the Shocker record books as the Claremore, Okla., native had a top throw of 147' 7" in the women's discus. Her throw places her fourth on the school's all-time list.
While some of the Shocker track & field athletes are at the Texas Relays the rest of the team will be at the Emporia State Invitational on Saturday, Apr. 3. More information will be posted about the ESU meet as it is made available.
