SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. ? The Wichita State volleyball team came back to defeat Nebraska, 3-2, in spring volleyball action in Scottsbluff, Neb.
The Shockers won by scores of 20-25, 20-25, 25-20, 25-20 and 15-11.
WSU out hit the Huskers .172 to .145 in the match and also out blocked NU 10-7.
Junior outside hitter Emily Stockman hit .457 in the match, while sophomore middle blocker Sarah McGee hit .400. Freshman setter Mary Elizabeth Hooper hit .286 in the match. Junior libero Melissa Granville led the Shockers with 22 digs, while Stockman had 16.
