WICHITA, Kan. ? The Black earned its first win of the 2007 Fall World Series with a 4-3 victory in game three.
Grant Muncrief went 2-for-3 with an RBI for the Black and also pitched 2.2 innings of scoreless relief. Starter Tyler Fleming earned the win going six innings and giving up three run on five hits while striking out three. Matt Smith picked up the save.
Tyler Weber drove in two for the Gold, while Kyle Sisney went 2-for-4 with a double. Starter Tim Kelley took the loss going six innings and giving up four runs on eight hits while striking out four.
Game four of the series is Tue., Oct. 9 at 7 p.m.
