WICHITA, Kan. – P.J. Couisnard, a guard/forward on the men's basketball team, was named this week's T-Mobile WSU Athlete of the Week after his performances against Indiana State and Evansville last week.

Couisnard averaged 17.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.5 blocks while shooting 46.2 percent (12-26) from the field and 71.4 percent (10-14) from the line in Wichita State's two games last week. The junior from Houston, Texas also tied a career-high with three blocks against Evansville.

The Shocker basketball team returns to Charles Koch Arena on Mon., Jan. 15, as they take on Valley nemesis Creighton at 7:05 p.m.
