Biography

As a Junior (2005-06)

One of three players to start all 28 games for the Shockers, averaging 26.6 minutes per game at shooting guard... Named MVC Newcomer-of-the-Week twice in January... Finished third on the squad in scoring with 8.9 points per game... Her 48 three-point field goals rank fifth on the school’s single-season list and was the eighth-best mark among conference players... Posted the fourth-most single-season three-point field goal attempts (150) in school history... Was third on the team in free-throw shooting with an 80 percent clip... Finished third on the squad with 4.3 rebounds per game... Also recorded 51 assists 14 blocks and 35 steals... Recorded first career double-double with 11 points and a career-high 12 rebounds against Texas-Pan American (J31)... Posted 12 games in double-figures, including a career-best 22-point performance at Missouri State (J3)... Led the team in scoring on two occasions and led the squad in rebounds twice... Recorded a team-best five three-point field goals twice, the last coming at Southern Illinois (F12)... Attempted a team-high 13 three-point field goals at Bradley (F24)... Posted a team-best three blocks twice... Averaged 9.6 points per game in conference action... Named to the AD’s Honor Roll and the Dean’s Honor Roll in Spring 2006.

 

Before Wichita State

Transferred from Toledo and sat out the 2004-05 season due to NCAA rules... Played in 54 games during her two-year career for the Rockets, including 11 starts... Recorded 63 career points at UT... Went 29-for-81 in two seasons for the Rockets, good for a field goal percentage of .358... Connected on 12-of-35 three pointers over two seasons, good for a .343 percentage beyond the arc... Recorded 52 assists, three blocks and 16 steals in two seasons at UT... Recorded a then career-best eight points twice at Toledo, last against Marquette (M20/03)... Recorded a season-high four points on three occasions in 2003-04... Tied a then career-best by pulling down eight rebounds against Rhode Island (D29/03)... Posted a career-high five assists against Rhode Island (D29/03)... Tied a career-high with two steals against Marquette (D20/03).

 

In High School

Attended Anderson County High School in Garnett, Kan... Lettered four years in basketball and four years in volleyball under head coach Doug North... Was a four-time all-area and all-league selection... Named to the all-state first team her senior season, averaging 21 ppg, 9.7 rpg and 4.5 assists per contest... Named second team all-state as a junior, averaging 17 ppg, 7.5 rpg with 6.5 assists and 3.5 steals per game... Named to the all-state second team as a sophomore, with 13 ppg, 7.0 rpg, four assists and three steals per contest... Earned first team all-league, all-area and all-state honors in volleyball as a junior and senior for the Bulldogs... Graduated with a 3.5 GPA... Participated as a member of the Student Council.
