Why Wichita State?
“Ever since I came to a Wichita State University basketball camp in the 11th grade, I’ve always wanted this to be my home. I fell in love with the atmosphere.”

What Karys wants fans to know about her: “I am a very competitive person with a deep love for the game, and I come from a family of well-rounded, great athletes, including my uncle who played professional football for the Redskins. I am the youngest of three with two brothers and was raised by my incredible mom. Her strength, guidance, coaching and belief in me –  along with the example set by my two older brothers, Khaden and Kylin, who also competed as collegiate athletes –  are what drive me to keep pushing forward every day. I am grateful for the support of my entire family. Basketball has always been more than a sport to me—it’s a passion. I’m thankful for everyone who is a part of my journey, and I know that anything is possible.”
