2019: Indoor - Competed in six meets, recording eight top-5 finishes...Won the Hawkeye Invitational long jump (7.55m/24-9.25) and the Air Force Invitational long jump (7.47m/24-6.25)...Ran the sixth fastest 200m in Shocker history winning the Air Force Invitational with a time of 21.59...Recorded a season best long jump mark of 7.59m/24-11 on Feb. 8 at the Tyson Invitational, the seventh farthest in Shocker history...Finished second in the long jump (7.57m/24-10) at the American Athletic Conference Championships, earning all-conference honors.
Outdoor - Competed in seven meets, playing different roles in jumps, relays and sprints...Opened the season strong with two first place finishes and one second place finish at the Herm Wilson Invitational, won the long jump (7.63m/25-0.5) and 4x100m (41.52) and placed second in 400m hurdles (55.65)...Competed at the 92nd Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays finishing 10th in long jump (7.75m/25-5.25) and ran in the 400m hurdles (57.07), 4x100m (42.54) and 4x400m (3:14.44)...Ran a personal best 400m winning the K.T. Woodman Classic in 49.89, also ran in the 200m finishing second in 21.81 and finished first as a member of the 4x400m in 3:29.76...Was part of the 4x400m team that won the 92nd Kansas Relays with the eighth fastest time in Shocker history of 3:10.51, also was part of the 4x100m that finished fifth in 42.27...Won the American Athletic Conference long jump title with a personal best jump of 7.75m/25-5.25, the seventh farthest mark in school history. Also placed sixth in triple jump with a mark of 14.99m/49-2.25...Was an NCAA West Regional qualifier in the long jump (16th, 7.41m/24-3.75) and triple jump (no mark).
2018 Summer: Finished second in the long jump (7.57m/24-10) at the USATF Junior Championships...Placed 10th in the long jump (7.61m/24-11.75) at the IAAF World U20 Championships in Tampere, Finland.
2018: Indoor - Competed in five different meets and finished in the top five of every competition he entered, including a top three finish nine times...Jumped a season best 15.37m/50-5.25 in the triple jump to finish third at the KSU/KU/WSU Triangular in Manhattan, Kan....Had three first place finishes at the Herm Wilson Invitational, long jump (7.42m/24-4.25), 200m (22.27) and as a member of the 4x400m (3:21.60)...Earned all-conference honors at The American Athletic Conference Championships with a third place finish in the long jump with a personal best mark of 7.47m/24-6.25.
Outdoor - Competed in eight different meets...Placed third in the long jump (7.65m/25-1.25) and triple jump (14.95m/49-0.75) at the Arkansas Spring Invitational...Won the Emporia State Relays triple jump (15.64m/51-3.75) and K.T. Woodman Classic triple jump (14.91m/48-11)...Recorded two top-five finishes at The American Outdoor Championships, fourth in the long jump (7.71m/25-3.5) and triple jump (15.05m/49-4.5).
High School: Lettered four years in track and field, three in basketball and two in cross country...Earned athlete of the year and athlete of the month...As a sophomore he finished fifth in the triple jump and was part of the 4x400m team that finished seventh in state...Won the state triple jump his junior and senior seasons, as well as the long jump his senior year...Finished fourth in the 300m hurdles his senior season and seventh his junior year, was part of the 4x400m team that finished first his senior year...Was an AAU triple jump national champion and finished second in USATF Jr. Olympics. Personal best - 51-7 in the triple jump and 24-0 in the long jump.
