2019: Indoor - Entered 14 races in six meets...Opened the season at the Hawkeye Invitational running a 9.64 60m hurdles and as a member of the 4x400m relay that clocked in at 4:07.01...Competed in the 60m hurdles (9.47) and 400m (1:01.99) at the Air Force Invitational...Recorded a personal best 200m time of 27.83 at the Wichita State College Invitational, also finished second in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.41...Recorded a personal best 60m hurdles time of 9.36 at the Fourth Annual Gorilla Classic...Ended the season running a personal best 400m time of 1:00.69 at the Arkansas Qualifier on Feb. 15. Outdoor - Competed in six meets...Opened the season recording two sixth place finishes at the Herm Wilson Invitational in the 100m hurdles (16.82) and 400m hurdles (1:08.54)...Placed fifth at the Friends Spring Open in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:08.17...Clocked a personal best 100m hurdles time of 16:15 at the 92nd Kansas Relays...Finished her season running a personal best 400m hurdles time of 1:06.29 at the Shocker Open.

High School: Lettered four years in track and field and three years in dance…Was a two-time KSHSAA 4A state champion in the 300m hurdles a junior and senior…Finished third in the 100m hurdles at the state meet as a senior…Helped her team win back-to-back state team titles in 2017 and 2018…Personal bests – 14.86 in the 100m hurdles and 44.73 in the 300m hurdles.
 
Personal: Daughter of Janelle and Greg Smarsh…Has one brother, Jared, and three sisters, Lindsey, Erika and Kelsey…Father Greg competed in track and Hutchinson Community College…Majoring in nursing.
