2016: Indoor: Placed sixth at the MVC Indoor championship in the 60 meter hurdles... Set his personal best 60 meter time of 8.13 at the championship in prelims... Won the 60 meter hurdles at the Air Force Team Challenge in 8.16...
Outdoor: Ran the 110 hurdles at two events with a 16.32 best, and the 200 meters once (23.48)...
High School: State champion in the 110 hurdles in 6A for Olathe East High School… Was also runner-up in the 300 hurdles… high school bests were 14.25 in the 110 hurdles and 39.25 in the 300 hurdles.
Personal: Born Austin (A.J.) Stephens on Feb. 25, 1997 in Olathe, Kan... Son of Mike and Kristen Stephens... Has sisters, Aubrey and Allie... Also recruited by Pitt State, Emporia State, Kansas, MidAmerica Nazarene and Olivet Nazarene... Majoring in Pre-Art and Design.
