Named to the Fall Athletic Director's Honor Roll... Started all 55 games, totaling 42 hits, five doubles, eight home runs, 26 runs and 26 RBIs... Her 11 sac bunts were far and away the most on the team and a career high... Notched a hit in all three games of the Memphis series... Singled and doubled in the series opener vs. Charlotte (April 25)... Doubled and scored in the run-rule win over Kansas City on April 22... Smacked a two-run home run in the second game of the doubleheader at Tulsa on April 17... Hit a solo home run in the finale vs. East Carolina on April 13... Drove in two runs vs. East Carolina on April 12... Went 3-for-4 with three RBIs and a double in the finale vs. South Florida on March 30... Belted a solo homer vs. South Florida on March 29... Named to the American Athletic Conference Championship All-Tournament Team... Started all 38 games she was available and hit .272 with 12 doubles, a triple, two home runs and 17 RBIs... Finished the season red-hot at the plate, going 10-for-18 in the last five games... Had three hits and a steal in the semifinals vs. Floirda Atlantic (May 10)... Was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in the comeback win vs. Tulsa (May 9)... Scored twice to go with two hits, including a double in the Shockers run-rule win over UTSA (May 8)... Doubled twice and scored twice in the regular season finale vs. Memphis (May 5)... Returned to the lineup for the Charlotte series after missing nearly a month... Drove in a run on an RBI single in Game 2 of the series vs. Houston (April 15)... Delivered a two-run single in the finale at Memphis (April 8)... Was 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBI at Memphis (April 7)... Doubled and homered in the series opener at Memphis (April 6)... Ledoff the second inning with a solo home run in Wichita State's upset of No. 2 Oklahoma State on April 4... Scored a run and singled twice in Wichita State's 14-0 win vs. South Florida (April 1)... Had an RBI double in Wichita State's 6-0 win at UCF (March 25)... HIGH SCHOOL
Hood was a four-year letterwinner and starter at shortstop for the Eagles... Named a Max Preps First Team All-American... NFCA Region VI Second Team... DFW Fastpitch Association All-Metroplex Most Valuable Player... Dallas Morning News All-Area Offensive Player of the Year... Two-time All-State selection... She broke the Dallas area record for home runs as a senior... As a junior, Hood was named the Conference Player of the Year, while also earning Dallas Morning News All-Area First Team accolades and second team recognition by both the Star Local Media All-Area and DFW Fastpitch All-Metroplex Team... A TGCA All-State member, Hood finished her junior campaign with 11 home runs, five triples, 36 RBI, 43 runs scored, 32 stolen bases and a .348 batting average... She set single season school records in triples, home runs, runs, RBI, batting average, total bases and slugging percentage... Hood helped the Eagles to a Tri and Bi-District Championship in 2021 with a 27-5-2 record.

PERSONAL
She is the daughter of Tracy Hood and Tiffany Gleeson, along with stepfather Chris Gleeson... She has two brothers: Jordan and Jacob; and a sister, Sarah... She plans to major in biochemistry at Wichita State.
