As a Junior in 2008:
Played in 38 games with six starts for the Shockers in 2008... Started all six games behind the plate where she had a perfect fielding percentage with 20 putouts and three assists... Hit .214 on the season with nine hits in 42 plate appearances and collected five RBI... Of her nine hits, four were doubles... Hit .263 with two doubles and two RBI in Missouri Valley Conference games... Went 2-for-4  with a two-RBI double in the seventh to give WSU a 4-3 win at Illinois St., on April 19... Had a .417 on-base percentage in Valley play.

Before Wichita State:
Attended Butler [Kan.] CCC... Played under head coach Doug Chance... Named Jayhawk Western Division All-Conference Team twice... As a sophomore, she hit .346 with 10 homers and 56 RBI... Named second team all-Region VI... Helped lead Grizzlies to two-straight Jayhawk Conference titles and the 2007 Region VI title.

In High School:
Attended North High School in Wichita, Kan... Played under head coach Jeff Cottril... Named second team all-city two years... Lettered all four years of high school in softball, volleyball, and bowling... Placed fifth at state in bowling as a senior... Earned Academic Letter and Honor Roll awards at North HS.

Daughter of William and Dana Spencer... Born March 25, 1987 as Jessica Elizabeth Spencer... Has an older brother, Andy... Majoring in economics at Wichita State.
