Participated in eight events for the Shockers...racked up 65 birdies and four eagles, finishing his career with 331 and 10, respectively...added a top-five finish at the Grier Jones Shocker Invitational on October 10-11, featuring a second round 67...shot a one-under 71 in the second round of the Hawkeye Invitational on April 14...turned in a 72 on the final round of the American Championship on April 24...named to AD Honor Roll in Fall 2022 and Spring 2023, finishing with a 4.0 GPA in the fall semester.
2021-22 (Junior):
Finished top-40 in all 11 competitions on the season...led team with 73.11 round average and 99 birdies, tied for the team lead with three eagles...recorded his second career top-five finish at Twin Oaks Intercollegiate (Mar. 21-22), highlighted by an opening round 66 for the best 18-hole performance of his career...later matched that 66 in the second round at MU Tiger Invitational (Apr. 11-12)...paced the Shockers with a 13th place finish at American Championship, including two rounds under par...went 2-1 at Wyoming Desert Match Play, besting Colorado and Air Force over the final two rounds...fired an opening round 67 at Mark Simpson Invitational on Sept. 27, finished the tournament with a career-best-tying 9-under 207 to secure a tie for 12th...finished in a tie for 22nd at Paintbrush Invitational on Oct. 5, tops on the team...named to the AD's Honor Roll for both Fall 2021 and Spring 2022...served on WSU's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)...named to AAC All-Academic Team.
2020-21 (Sophomore II):
Took part in all six spring tournaments in a COVID-shortened year… 74.7 stroke average across 18 rounds… Carded 53 birdies and two eagles… Best finish came against a loaded field at the Hootie at Bulls Bay (Mar. 28-30) when he finished 1-over, 217 and tied for 28th out of 96 golfers… Low 18 was 3-under, 69 in the second round of the Missouri Tiger Invitational in Columbia (Apr. 5-6)… Had an up-and-down weekend at the GCU Invitational (Mar. 15-16) but finished strong to help the Shockers hold off Southern Miss by two strokes for the team title… Placed 35th at the American Athletic Conference Championship with a 226 (+10)… Qualified for the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll (3.0+ semester GPA) in both semesters.
2019-20 (Sophomore):
Took a giant leap forward in his second season, posting his first career victory while shaving more than four-and-a-half strokes off of his 18-hole average… (72.3, down from 76.9 as a freshman)… Registered a team-high 62 birdies in 18 rounds… Competed in all six tournaments with two top-20 finishes in a season that was shortened due to the COVID-19 pandemic… Tied for first-place out of 63 individuals at the Herb Wimberly Invitational (Oct. 9-10). He fired a career-low 67 in the first round on his way to a 6-under, 207 (also a personal-best) and helped Wichita State fend off host New Mexico State for the team title… Carded a 68 in his first round of the season and went on to tie for 20th (-3, 211) at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational (Sep. 9-10).... Fall 2019 AD Honor Roll qualifier.
2018-19 (Freshman):
Competed in 10 tournaments -- most by a Shocker freshman since 2011-12… Finished with a stroke average of 76.89 over 29 rounds… Carded a 1-under, 69 in his first collegiate round at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational (Sep. 10-11). He finished up at even-par (140) and tied for 14th, helping WSU take home the team title… Fired a 70 (-1) in the first round of the GCU Invitational on Mar. 15 on his way to a season-low 54-hole tally (222)… Tied for 40th in his first American Athletic Conference Championship with a 229… Made the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll in both semesters.
