2018-19 (Sophomore):
Former Nebraska Gatorade Player of the Year… Transferred to Wichita State in May, 2018 after a strong rookie year at West Virginia… High scoring acumen earned him the nickname “Teddy Buckets”… Has three seasons of eligibility remaining and will be a member of WSU’s practice squad while satisfying NCAA transfer requirements.

“Teddy is a young man who has shown the ability to score the basketball. He is a physically strong and tough driver and post-up player who also pounds the offensive glass. He has a relentless work ethic, and we feel his experience playing in the Big 12 will be beneficial to us in practice and ultimately in games.”
 
At West Virginia:
Appeared in 35 games as a true freshman… Put up 7.0 points and 2.7 rebounds in 11.9 minutes per game… Averaged a team-high 23.4 points per 40 minutes of court time… Scored in double-figures 13 times, including twice during the Mountaineers’ Sweet 16 run… Helped WVU to a 26-11 record and a tie for second place in the Big 12 standings… Big 12 Newcomer of the Week (Jan. 8) following back-to-back 20-point performances. Had 20 points on 9-of-11 shooting vs. OU and hit 8-of-12 for 22 points in 19 minutes at K-State… Set season-highs for points (24) and rebounds (9) in a Dec. 20 win over Coppin State… Voted West Virginia’s “Rookie of the Year” for all sports at the school’s annual end of year awards gala.
 
High School:
Nebraska’s 2016-17 Gatorade High School Player of the Year… First Team All-Nebraska… Two-time First Team Class C-1 selection… Had the nation’s 12th-highest scoring average as a senior (31.6)... First Nebraska high school player since 1996 to put up more than 30 points per game…  Scored a school-record 47 points against Douglas County… Recorded a quad-double against Wayne with 33 points, 18 rebounds, 10 assists and 11 steals… Team finished 20-7 and made the state tournament… Coached by Tom Krehbiel… Signed with West Virginia in November, 2016, prior to his senior season… Transferred to Boys Town for his junior year and became eligible at semester… Performed well enough in 17 games (26.6 points, 12.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.8 steals) to earn All-Nebraska Second Team status... Shot 41 percent from three-point range and 80 percent from the foul line… Previously attended Desert Ridge High in Mesa, Ariz. and averaged 18.7 points, 6.7 rebounds as a sophomore and 14.6 points, 3.8 rebounds as a freshman.
