20171-18: Cross Country - Ran in five races, including a fifth place finish at the Missouri Southern Stampede 8K with a time of 25:10.0...Finished 46th at the American Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships 8K with a time of 27:03.2. Indoor - Competed in five meets, four top-10 finishes...Won the Herm Wilson Invitational 1000m with a time of 2:33.49...Ran a personal best 2:32.90 to finish fourth in the 1000m at the KSU/KU/WSU Triangular...Earned all-conference honors as a member of the DMR that placed second (10:01.18) at the American Athletic Conference Indoor Championships. Outdoor - Competed in six meets, including two first place finishes...Won the K.T. Woodman Classic 3000m steeplechase (9:32.74) and the Central Missouri Mule Relays 5000m with a personal best 15:06.54...Was part of two relays that recorded top-10 finishes at the Drake Relays, fourth in the 4x1600m (17:22.33) and seventh in the 4x800m (7:58.21)...Finished seventh in the 3000m steeplechase (9:19.67) and 14th in the 5000m (15:28.94) at the American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships.

2016-17: Cross Country  - Ran in four races, including a 27th place finish at the Ollie Isom Invite in the 8K. Indoor – Ran in nine races, including five top ten finishes…Set a personal record in the 3000m at the Gorilla Classic…Finished sixth in the distance medley relay and 33rd in the 3000m at the MVC Indoor Championships. Outdoor – Recorded two top five finishes…Ran a personal best 4:06.62 in the 1,500m at the Emporia State Relays…Placed 12th in the 3000m steeplechase at the MVC Outdoor Championships
 
2015-16: Indoor- Ran in eight races, including four top ten finishes…Set personal records in the 600m (1:26.58), 800m (2:00.93), and the mile (4:21.99). Outdoor – Competed in four meets, including a pair of seventh place finishes in the 4x4 and 3000m steeplechase.
 
2014-15: Cross Country- Ran the first four races of the season, including the Woody Greeno Invitational where he finished fifth in a time of 26:18.70 in the 8k... Was sixth at the JK Gold Classic with a time of 18:41.76 in the 6k race. Indoor/Outdoor- Did not compete.
 
2013-14: Cross Country- Ran in five races for the Shockers as a freshman ...  Best finish was ninth at the J.K. Gold Classic with a time of 19:50.4 in the 6K race ...  Other top 10 finish was 10th at the ESU Invitational when he ran the 8K in 27:05.38 ...  Best 8K time was 26:11 at the Bradley Pink Classic when he finished 117th. Outdoor- Competed in 10 races, setting four personal bests...Won the KT Woodman Classic's 5000m with a time of 15:17.89, his best of the season. 
 
High School:  Lettered in cross country and track and field… Received All-State recognition in cross country  (2)  and track and field (1)… Six-time NCKL champion... High School personal bestswere: 9:51 in the 3,200m run and 15:34 in the 5,000m.
 
Personal: Son of Jeff Sturdy and Shannon Jennings…Majoring in sports management…His grandfather, Tom, is the founder of Flash Results Timing, the timing agency for the NCAA Championships and Olympic trials... Step-grandfather, John Mason, and uncle, Roger Jennings, were NAIA Champions and were sub-4-minute milers.
