WICHITA – Wichita State junior
Josh Parrish was named American Conference men's track athlete of the week for the second time this season, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.

The Olathe, Kan. native ran four 60-meter hurdles races over the course of two days, tying his school record time of 7.70 to finish third in the university final at the Tyson Invitational after running 7.72 in the prelim. His time of 7.70 ranks second in the American Conference and 26
th in the nation.

The next day, Parrish won the prelim and final of the Ichabod Invitational, clocking 7.85 in the prelim and 7.73 in the final. He went on to run the third leg of the winning 4x400-meter relay that ran 3:17.36.

Parrish and the Shockers return to action Friday, Feb. 20 at Kansas State where they will compete in the Steve Miller Invitational at the Cliff Rovelto Indoor Track.
