COLUMBIA, Mo. – Wichita State begins play in its third tournament of the season on Monday in the Johnie Imes Invitational at the Club at Old Hawthorne.
 
Coach Tom McCurdy's crew has been on a tear this fall, earning two top-five team finishes, including finishing as runner-up two weeks ago at the Payne Stewart Memorial, the highest team finish for the Shockers since 2022.
 
Senior Mackenzie Wilson has recorded two top ten finishes in each of the first two tournaments for the Shockers. In total, four Shockers have had seven individuals finishes in the top 20 of tournaments this season.

After making her collegiate debut at the Payne Stewart Memorial, freshman Magdalena Domine has earned a place in the Shocker lineup for the first time. She is joined by the four Shockers who have recorded a top 20 finish this season.

Amelie Paul (So.) – Second-year Shocker…Tied for seventh at Jayhawk Invitational to open 2025-26 season, first collegiate top ten finish…Played in nine tournaments as a true freshman, recording two top 30 finishes
 
Kayla Van de Ven (So.) – Second-year Shocker…Finished top 15 in the first two tournaments of the 2025-26 season…Joined team in January of 2025, making a major impact in her lone semester of college competition…Competed in all six spring tournaments for the Shockers in 2025
 
Mackenzie Wilson (Sr.) – Fourth-year Shocker…Two top ten finishes in first two tournaments of the year…Has competed in all 30 tournaments in her previous three years at WSU…Enters year No. 2 in Shocker history for stroke average in a career at 75.24, trailing only teammate Kate Tilma…Team best stroke average in two of the last three years
 
Manon Guille (Jr.) – First-year Shocker…Transferred from Abilene Christian…Played in 14 tournaments for the Wildcats, recording six top 20 finishes
 
Magdalena Domine (Fr.) – True freshman making first career start…Tied for 22nd in collegiate debut competing as an individual...
