TEMPE, Ariz. – Wichita State's
Xin Tong Wang and
Giorgia Roselli were ranked among the top players in college tennis in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's preseason rankings, released Tuesday.
In singles, Wang is ranked No. 73. In doubles, the pair of Wang and Roselli is ranked No. 31.
Wang has been ranked in every ITA singles poll since the end of fall rankings in 2024. She finished the 2025 season at No. 111 and has reached as high as No. 62 in her college career. This marks the 12th time she has been ranked in singles, trailing only Fatima Bizhukova (17) and Lutfiana Budiharto (22) for the most appearances in school history.
It is the third time Wang and Roselli have been ranked as a doubles team and by far their highest ranking. The duo is the highest-ranked doubles team for the Shockers since Marta Belluco and Sandra Honigova were ranked No. 23 on Jan. 13, 2021.
Both Wang and Roselli earned all-conference honors last season, the first time Wichita State had multiple all-conference selections since 2018.
