GREENWOOD, Ind. – Wichita State's Theodora Chantava, Anne KnuettelGiorgia Roselli, and Xin Tong Wang have been named to the College Sport Communicators (CSC) 2025 Academic All All-District Women's Tennis Team.

CSC, formerly called CoSIDA, has sponsored Academic All-America teams since 1952, but this is only the third year that the organization has announced a tennis team list. To earn the honor of Academic All-District, student-athletes must possess and maintain a 3.50+ cumulative GPA and have to be at their current school for a full calendar year. Graduate students must have also maintained at least a 3.50 as an undergrad. Student-athletes must have also competed in at least 80% of matches in order to be eligible.

Chantava, a junior from Grevena, Greece, holds a 3.96 GPA and is working towards a bachelor's degree in sport management. She is an Academic All-District selection for the second consecutive year. She led the Shockers in overall wins in singles with 23 and doubles 19. In singles, she competed between lines three and four, going 14-6 in the spring dual season. Her singles win at court on April 18 against Tulsa was the 50th overall singles win in her career.

Knuettel, an academic senior from Fuchsstadt, Germany, holds a GPA of 3.90, and is expected to graduate this summer with a bachelor's degree in business administration. Knuettel had a fantastic year on the court for the Shockers, posting a 12-3 record in singles competing between courts five and six. She delivered the clinching win in four big matches this year for Wichita State and had a streak of eight consecutive singles wins between February 5 and April 6.

Roselli, a sport management major and sophomore from Pescara, Italy, possesses a GPA of 3.91. In addition to being Academic All-District, Roselli also earned AAC All-Conference honors for her on-court performance this year. She played at No. 1 doubles in all 23 matches this season and played at the No. 1 or No. 2 position in singles in almost every match this season. She posted a singles record in duals of 10-7 and went 9-3 across her final 12 singles decisions.

Wang, a sophomore from Hangzhou, China, had an impressive season on the court to pair with her GPA of 3.80. Wang made her mark in the Shocker record books, becoming the first Shocker since 1983 to reach the singles final of the ITA Central Region Championship and became the first to compete at NCAA Individuals since 2019. She has been ranked in each ITA top 125 singles rankings since December 3 and was ranked with Roselli in doubles at multiple points throughout the season. She held down the No. 1 spot with Roselli in singles and competed at No. 1 singles in most matches for WSU in the dual season.

Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on June 4.
