AZUSA, Calif – Wichita State's
Destiny Masters recorded a new NCAA Division I heptathlon lead, scoring 5,715 points at the Bryan Clay Multis.

The senior from El Dorado, Kan. had the best high jump clearance of day one, clearing 1.82m/5'11.5" to tie for the American Athletic Conference lead.

On day two, she threw the best javelin mark of the competition with a season-best throw of 46.74m/153'4". The mark currently ranks sixth in the AAC.

Also in the heptathlon,
Abby Klipstein took eighth in Group D with a score of 4,366 points.

In the decathlon,
Rikard Trogen Hedin put up the 10
th-best score in Wichita State history with 7,191 points to take fourth in Group B. His score is a new AAC leading mark.

Hudson Bailey placed sixth with a personal-best decathlon score of 7,041 points, and
Luke Czarnecki took ninth with 6,813 points.
