WICHITA – Wichita State's
Destiny Masters was tabbed the American Athletic Conference Women's Field Athlete of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.

The senior from El Dorado, Kan. put up an NCAA-leading heptathlon score of 5,604 points to win the ESU Relays. In the heptathlon, she cleared for the 23
rd-best high jump mark in the NCAA and third-best in the conference, ran the seventh-fastest 100-meter hurdles time in the AAC, jumped the seventh-farthest long jump mark in the AAC, and threw the 10
th-best shot put mark and sixth-best javelin mark in the AAC.

This marks the third time in Masters' career that she has earned an outdoor weekly award and the third time a Shocker woman has been named AAC Field Athlete of the Week.
