TULSA, Okla. – Wichita State (10-6, 2-2) dropped its second-straight match with a 3-0 loss at Tulsa (13-3, 3-1). The Golden Hurricane won by scores of 28-26, 25-18 and 25-20.

Brooklyn Leggett led the Shockers with 13 kills and hit .385, while
Jenna Cubbage added a career-high 12 kills.
Jordan Heatherly had 25 assists and
Gabi Maas finished with 12 digs.

Tulsa took an early 9-5 lead in the first set, but the Shockers responded to tie it at 12 after a 5-0 run. A Leggett kill put WSU up 15-14 and kills from
Sydney Dunning and Cubbage forced a Tulsa timeout at 18-16. The Shockers reached set point at 24-22, but the Golden Hurricane scored three-straight to go in front 25-24. A Tulsa attack error tied it at 25, but Tulsa scored three of the final four points for the 28-26 win.

The Golden Hurricane grabbed a quick 6-2 lead in the second set, but the Shockers tied it at nine on a kill from
Maddie Wilson. The two teams traded points until Tulsa used a 3-0 run to go in front 16-13. Tulsa pushed it to 20-14 and went on to win the set 25-18.

Tulsa jumped in front 9-4 in the third set before the Shockers chipped away behind the serving of
Katie Galligan to pull within 13-11.
Grace Hett's service ace tied it at 14, but Tulsa responded with three-straight to take a 17-14 lead. They finished off the set with a 25-20 win.
