TULSA, Okla. – Wichita State's
Xin Tong Wang and
Giorgia Roselli went a combined 3-0 on Friday to reach the semifinals of both singles and doubles at the 2025 American Conference Individual Championships.

In doubles, the No. 31-ranked pair dispatched North Texas's Lou Chalard and Lilly Schultz 8-5 to open the day, punching a ticket to the semis.

In singles, both faced stiff opposition with each playing three-set matches, but prevailed to move on to the singles semifinals.

Wang defeated South Florida's Melisa Senli 6-2, 3-6, 6-0, and Roselli came from behind to beat Charlotte's Sara Suchankova, the No. 5 seed in singles, 4-6, 6-3, 6-2.

In doubles, the No. 1-seeded Shockers will face Tulane's Natalia Perez and Natalia Fantini at 9:00 AM Saturday for a spot in Sunday's doubles final.

In singles, Wang, the No. 1 seed, and Roselli, the No. 3 seed, are the two highest seeds remaining after the two-seed was defeated on Friday. In the semis, Wang will face No. 6 seed Ni Xi from Charlotte, and Roselli will face South Florida's Francesca Miglio. Both matches have scheduled start times of 11:00 AM on Saturday.

This will be the first collegiate meeting between Roselli and Miglio. Meanwhile, Wang defeated Xi 7-5, 6-4 on April 15 last season in a match that the Shockers lost 4-3.Â
