TEMPE, Ariz. – The Wichita State women's tennis team will open the 2026-27 season with a pair of Shockers ranked in the ITA preseason rankings, announced Tuesday by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
 
Senior Xin Tong Wang enters this season No. 117 in the ITA singles rankings after a standout junior season. She held the top position in both the singles and doubles lineup for the Shockers, reaching as high as No. 73 in the ITA singles rankings while earning American Conference Player of the Year recognition as a unanimous all-conference selection.
 
In doubles, Wang and Roselli are ranked at No. 50. In last preseason's rankings, the pair climbed to the No. 9 spot in the nation. Finishing fourth at the ITA Conference Masters tournament and earned the title of American Conference doubles champions. This marks the fourth time Wang and Roselli have appeared in the ITA doubles rankings.
