WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State Athletics continues its partnership with the WSU Foundation and Alumni Engagement for the Shocker Summer Caravan this July 15 and 25.
Director of Athletics Kevin Saal will join members of Wichita State's coaching staff for events in Overland Park and Wichita. The events are open to the public and will feature an official program with the opportunity to interact with coaches, student-athletes, and Wichita State University and Athletics staff. Fans in attendance will also be able to win door prizes, take photos with special guests and shop Shocker apparel.
"These Shocker Summer Caravan events are some of the best of the year," Saal said. "They give us a great opportunity to engage and build relationships with Shocker Nation. Going into year two of the Shocker Summer Caravan, we invite Shocker Nation to please mark your calendars and join us…we look forward to spending time with our Shocker Family!"
Both events will feature an official program with appearances from multiple WSU coaches, including Paul Mills, Terry Nooner, Brian Green, Chris Lamb, Steve Rainbolt, Judd Easterling, and student-athletes from various sport programs. Appetizers and non-alcoholic beverages will be served at each location. A cash bar will also be available.
