LAWRENCE, Kan. – A Wichita State distance squad took home wins on day one of the Kansas Relays Thursday at Rock Chalk Park.

Iestyn Williams made his return to the track after missing indoor season due to injury, winning the Thursday section of the 800 meters with a time of 1:54.29.

Jenna Muma and
Adam Rzentkowski swept the Thursday sections of the 1500 meters with Muma winning the women's race with a personal-best time of 4:40.55 and Rzentkowski winning the men's race in 3:56.21.

Cesar Ramirez won his second 3,000-meter steeplechase race of the season with a personal-best time of 9:23.95 with freshman teammate
Landen O'Neill finishing second in 9:37.70 (PB).

In the 5,000 meters,
Miranda Dick ran a personal-best 17:24.31 to finish fourth, the second-fastest collegiate finisher.
