FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Wichita State track and field is set for one last tune up before the American Athletic Conference Indoor Championships as it will send 17 athletes to the Arkansas Qualifier on Friday at the Randal Tyson Track Center.

Wichita State athletes will compete in the 60 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters, 60-meter hurdles, men's high jump and women's triple jump, starting with the women's hurdles prelims at 2:10 p.m.

live results available to follow along with.

Last year at the Arkansas Qualifier,
Brady Palen tied the Wichita State high jump school record, clearing 2.22m/7'3.25" to qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championships. Palen is the lone Shocker high jumper entered this year and will jump at 6 p.m.

Jaleel Montgomery, the conference leader in the 60-meter hurdles, along with
Brock Merz and Jason and
Josh Parrish, will race in the hurdles one last time before the conference championship, as will
Kate Campos,
Anna Heacock and Courtney and
Diondra Wilborn.

Chidera Okoro will compete in the triple jump after joining the 6-meter club and winning the long jump last week at the Ichabod Invitational.

Wichita State is just two weeks out from the AAC Indoor Championships in Birmingham, Ala.
