SHOCKER NOTES
- The 2024 campaign for the Shockers is their 15th under the guidance of Head Coach Colin Foster.
- The Shockers (3-2) enter the match after suffering a 7-0 road sweep against Oral Roberts on February 2.
- Wichita State is 0-1 at home this season.
- The Shocker roster is made up of five returners and three international additions in Giorgia Roselli, Anne Knuettel, and Xin Tong Wang.
- The Shockers are coming off their first season with a winning record since 2018-19
- In the fall, freshman Wang advanced to the semifinals of both singles and doubles at the Fighting Illini open in Champaign, Illinois on Nov. 9
- In team action in the fall, Roselli and sophomore Kristina Kudryavtseva tied for the team lead in singles wins with five each.
- In doubles, the duo of Theodora Chantava and Clara Whitaker totaled the most doubles wins in the fall with four.
- Since joining the American in the 2017-18 season, the Shockers are 8-20 against in-conference foes.

LAST TIME VS TULANE

- Ellie Myers and Zoe Hammond lead the team in singles wins with five each.
LAST MATCH
- The Shockers fell in a close match on the road to the Kentucky Wildcats, 2-5
- WSU won the doubles point, but were defeated at five of six singles courts.
- Wang was the lone Shocker to record a singles win, winning 7-6 (6), 7-5 at court two.Â

The Shockers will take another road trip, heading to Arlington, Texas to face the University of Texas – Arlington Mavericks at 2:00 PM on February 15, followed by a match the next day against American Athletic Conference foe, SMU in Dallas at 2:00 PM.
