TULSA, Okla. – The Wichita State women's tennis team will take a short trip to Tulsa's Michael D. Case Tennis Center to compete in the Tulsa Invitational November 1-3.
 
The Tulsa Invitational will be the last full team competition for the Shockers in the fall season. It will be the fifth consecutive year the Shockers have taken the November trip to Tulsa to compete in the Invitational.
 
The Invitational provides the Shockers with chances to get in more matches in the fall before the spring season begins. The Shockers will face off against players from Central Arkansas, North Texas, and host Tulsa. The matches will be played in the hidden dual format, meaning the Shockers will play a round of doubles against a team and then follow with a round of singles against the same team, simulating a spring dual match.
 
At last year's Invitational, the Shockers went 5-4 in doubles and 13-6 in singles matches across the weekend. Current Shockers Kristina Kudryavtseva and Xin Tong Wang went undefeated in singles.
 
Matches are slated to begin on Friday at 1:00 PM and will continue through Sunday, weather permitting. All courts are expected to have live streaming throughout the weekend. 

Friday - Tulsa vs. Wichita State
Saturday - Wichita State vs. North Texas
Sunday - Central Arkansas vs. Wichita State
