1. C. Cleanthony Early, a 6-foot-8 forward, led the Shockers with averages of 16.2 points and 7.6 rebounds in the NCAA Tournament, including 24 points and 10 rebounds in the Final Four loss to Louisville.
2. A. Jackie Carmichael fouled Cotton, leading to two free throws for Cleanthony Early to start an 8-0 run for the Shockers in the final 40 seconds.
3. G Malcolm Armstead, G Ron Baker, G Tekele Cotton, F Carl Hall, C Ehimen Orupke. Cleanthony Early came off the bench for the season's first six games and returned to that role for much of February and into post-season play. He started Wichita State's final three NCAA Tournament games.
