AUSTIN, Texas – The Wichita State track and field team wrapped up day two of the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays.

In the 100-meter hurdles timed final,
Zarrey Sams ran a personal-best 14.05 to finish 14
th, and
Diondra Wilborn ran 14.56 to place 41
st.

Joseph Holthusen won his heat of the 110-meter hurdles to finish 16
th in 14.27.

The women's 4x100-meter relay team of
Faith Turner, Sams,
Sydney Johnson and
Savannah Simmons crossed the line in 46.98 to place 31
st. The men's squad of
Joseph Holthusen,
Joakim Genereux,
Bryan Haney and
Jaleel Montgomery ran in the timed final, placing 21
st in 41.91.

Montgomery made his 100-meter season debut in the timed finals, clocking a 10.71 to place 83
rd, 0.27 seconds faster than his outdoor debut a year ago.

The men's 4x400-meter relay team of Genereux, Haney,
RJ Hutchison and
JD Prinsloo ran in the preliminaries, placing 33
rd with a time of 3:14.40.

Courtney Wilborn and
Maya Fabri ran in the timed finals of the 4x400, finishing 11
th in 3:50.66

The distance medley relay team of
Bryce Merriman, Prinsloo,
Iestyn Williams and
Clayton Duchatschek earned a top-10 finish, placing sixth in 9:56.25.
