In the opening round against #2 seed San Diego, Castillo and Lewis each rallied from big deficits to earn half a point. Castillo trailed the Toreros Andi Xu by four after the front nine, but won holes 11, 13, 15 and 17 to pull level. Meanwhile, Lewis found himself down to USD's Evan Kawai by three after 11 holes before winning three of the next four holes. Lorenz and Carson Enright were neck-and-neck the entire morning, but Enright inched in front on 17 and held off Lorenz for the victory.
The Shockers controlled their matchup with Boise State from start to finish, losing just one match by a single point. Scheufler dominated the Broncos Gavyn Knight, breaking an early tie through two holes to eventually lengthen his lead out to four on the back nine. He maintained the four-point edge through 15 holes, clinching the win. Lorenz seized an early two-point advantage against Max Charles and held the fort down the stretch, picking up a crucial win on 16 to nail down his individual win. Winslow trailed for just a single hole against Will O'Connor, quickly erasing the deficit to help the Shockers to the team victory.
In Saturday's finale, Winslow led by four after just six holes against Seattle's Jack Rahon, maintaining a comfortable cushion in the back nine to cap off his strong weekend with a 3&2 win. Scheufler trailed by as many as three midway through his round against Ben Ragland, but made up the ground by claiming three of four holes from 7-10.
The Shockers return to action on March 5 for the Tiger Invitational at RTJ Golf Trail at Grand National in Opelika, Alabama.
