OMAHA, Neb. – The Wichita State women's golf team had their trip to Omaha cut short by a day after thunder and lightning forced play to stop on day three before teams could finish. The Shockers finished in fifth place at 38-over par.

The Shockers totaled a team score of 622 with rounds of 305 and 317 finishing 38-over par and fifth as a team. The University of St. Thomas won the team title at 15-over par.  Rain cutting the day short meant that the standings through round two became the official results for the tournament.
In round one, the Shockers shined bright.
Kate Tilma led the entire field for a brief time but had slipped into fifth place by the time the round was final.
Hillary Currier and
Mackenzie Wilson, both found themselves in the top-10 at the end of the round, sitting tied for 7
th place at +3.

Round two was a brutal round for the Shockers as they were overcome with a plague of bogeys that dropped them down into fifth place through the first 36-holes of the tournament.
