AZUSA, Cali./NORMAN, Okla. – Five multi-event athletes completed day one of the Sooner Multis, while
Adam Moore rewrote the history books at the Bryan Clay Invitational.

Moore logged a personal-best 3:42.92 in the 1500 meters in Azusa, California to move up to third all-time in Shocker history. He placed 59
th in a highly competitive invite section, taking second in the seventh heat behind Colorado's Noah Hibbard.

After day one of the Sooner Multis,
Maria Romero is the top Shocker, sitting in fourth place with 2,907 points. Romero recorded the fourth-best mark in two of the four events, running the 100-meter hurdles in 14.46 and shot putting 10.36m/34-0.
Kenisa Meyer isn't far behind in sixth place after clearing a personal-best 1.54m/5-0.5, and tying for ninth place after day one is
Anna Heacock, who recorded a personal best in the shot put with a throw of 9.50m/31-2.

In the decathlon competition,
Kolby Caster is the lone Shocker remaining after
Hudson Bailey dropped out of the competition during the long jump. Caster is in 13
th after five events, with his best finish coming in the shot put with the fifth-best throw of the day (11.09m/36-4.75).
