WICHITA, Kan. - Freshman Alison Cooper was named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll Monday afternoon following a standout performance in the circle at South Florida.

The Granbury, Texas, native threw a complete game in Sunday's win at South Florida. Cooper allowed just one run on four hits and a walk, while striking out a pair. She recorded her third complete game of the season and the four hits allowed tied a season low.

Cooper improved to 5-2 and now has a team-best 3.75 ERA this season. She is the first Wichita State pitcher to earn a weekly honor in 2022 and fourth different Shocker to be named to the honor roll.

Wichita State continues American Athletic Conference play this weekend when the Shockers travel to Houston, April 14-16.
