The Wichita State Men's Basketball Golf Classic and Auction returns after a two-year absence, and tickets are on sale now.
 
The Dinner and Auction – sponsored by Crash Champions Collision Repair Team – tips off Saturday, May 7 at 5:30 p.m. inside Charles Koch Arena. Tickets start at $75.
 
Attendees can bid on a large list of items and experiences, including a Shocker Golf Cart (courtesy of Kansas Golf and Turf), official team gear, memorabilia and a long list of packages and prizes from local restaurants and small businesses.
 
A special $150 VIP ticket (which includes dinner and auction) provides access to a pre-event party with hors d'oeuvres, fine wine and first crack at exclusive items, such as dinner with the Shockers or a trip to an American Athletic Conference away game via the team charter. VIP party attendees can also enjoy mint juleps and the running of the 148^th Kentucky Derby.
 
The Golf Tournament – presented by Equity Bank – takes place Monday, May 9 at the Wichita Country Club.
 
Individual entries are $425-each; team entries are $1,500. Each participant receives two free dinner and auction tickets, along with green fees, cart rental, range balls, breakfast, lunch and other tournament gifts and prizes.
 
A percentage of ticket and entry fees for both events are tax deductible (see flyer for details) and all proceeds support the Wichita State Men's Basketball program.
