Kristi Bredbenner is the coach of the Wichita State softball team. She won career game No. 300 at Wichita State with a 9-2 win over Kansas on March 14. She is 303-243-1 in 11 seasons, including a 17-9 record this season.
 
She is 11 wins away from passing Jim Maynard as the program's winningest coach.
