WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita State sophomore outfielder Lauren Lucas has been named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll for a second time this season, it was announced Monday afternoon.

Lucas has been on a torrid stretch at the plate over the last couple weeks and that was evident in seven games for Wichita State last week. The Little Elm, Texas, native hit .560/.560/1.160 (14-for-25) with a triple, four doubles, three home runs, 10 RBI and six runs scored. She had three hits in three of the team's seven games, and at least one in six of the seven. In the run-rule of Iowa, Lucas drove in a career-high five runs. In the win over Kansas City, she recorded a career-best two doubles.

She now ranks third on the team in batting average this season at .387 to go with seven doubles, seven home runs and 25 RBI.
