WICHITA, Kan. -Â For the second straight year it will be Wichita State and Tulsa in the first round of the Air Force Reserve American Athletic Conference Championship.
Wichita State (14-15, 5-11) enters the tournament as the No. 9 seed and will face a Golden Hurricane team as the No. 8 seed. The two teams just faced each other in Tulsa on Feb. 27.
This also marks the second straight year that both teams finished as the No. 9 and No. 8 seeds. They will be the first game of the conference tournament on Monday, March 7 at 1 p.m. CT in Dickies Arena on ESPN+.
The winner will advance to Tuesday's quarterfinal matchup against the top seed and regular season champion, UCF Knights.
