TOPEKA, Kan. – The Wichita State track and field team travels to Topeka to compete at Washburn in the Ichabod Mid-Week Challenge and the Ichabod Invitational on Thursday and Saturday.

The meets feature athletes from a variety of schools, including South Dakota, whose pole vault squads are both ranked No. 3 in the nation with a total of four vaulters in the top 25.

Wichita State currently has two athletes nationally ranked in the top 30 in their events.
Destiny Masters is 12
thin the nation in high jump and 30
th in the pentathlon, leading the conference in both events, while
Michael Bryan sits in 27
th in the nation in the weight throw to lead the conference by over a meter.

The Shockers hold 14 top-three spots in the American Athletic Conference rankings with just two meets remaining before the indoor conference championships.

Thursday's meet starts are 1 p.m. with field events and athletes take to the track at 3 p.m.
