WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita State junior infielder Zoe Jones has been named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll, it was announced Monday afternoon.

Jones hit .400 (6-for-15) over the weekend at the Niner Invitational, including three doubles, seven runs and an RBI. The Texas Tech transfer now has a team-high six doubles this season.

Jones scored a pair of runs in the win over Northern Iowa and then went 3-for-4 in the first matchup vs. Charlotte over the weekend. On the final day of the tournament, she doubled and scored a run vs. Minnesota, before hitting two more doubles in the nightcap vs. Charlotte.

This is the first accolade for Jones as a Shocker.

Wichita State travels to Lincoln, Neb., to face Nebraska and South Dakota State this weekend, March 4-6.
