WICHITA, Kan. – The Shockers snagged American Athletic Conference honors for the second-straight week, courtesy of Nicolas Acevedo.
 
Acevedo earned his first AAC Player of the Week following his 2-0 singles performance at court two at the ITA Kickoff Weekend in Fort Worth, Texas. He also won his only-completed doubles match at No. 1 against Portland 6-4.
 
Acevedo is 3-1 in singles and 4-0 in doubles this spring.
