Fayetteville, Ark. – The Wichita State men's tennis team travels to Arkansas to play in the ITA Central Region Championships Thursday, Oct. 13 through Monday, Oct. 17.

All eight Shocker players are making the trip to Fayetteville after just four played Oct. 1-2 at the ITA All-American Championships.

Richey King,
Zach Grueber and
Jaydn Richardson play their first singles matches on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at the Arkansas recreational courts (REC), while
Kristof Minarik (Arkansas facility (ARK) 1:30 p.m.),
Alex Richards (REC 1:30 p.m.),
Orel Ovil (REC 2:30 p.m.),
Luke Bracks (ARK 2:30 p.m.) and
Misha Kvantaliani (REC 2:30 p.m.) received first-round byes and will play their first matches Thursday.

Grueber/Richardson, King/Ovil, and Bracks/Kvantaliani open doubles play Thursday at 8:30 a.m. on the REC courts, while Minarik and Richards earned a bye and won't play until the round of 32.

At last year's regional championship in Lincoln, Neb., the Shockers sent one player to the singles quarterfinal, and Ovil and Grueber won two doubles matches to make it to the round of 16.

Matches will be played on thee the six outdoor courts at the Arkansas facility (ARK) as well as the campus recreational courts (REC).
