Associate head coach Elizabeth Economon returns to the podcast to set up fall practices for the Shockers. We talk about recruiting with the momentum of 2021 behind the program, replacing key infield spots and how two transfers might fit in. Wichita State opens its fall scrimmages at 1 p.m. Sunday vs. Pittsburg State at Wilkins Stadium.

The Shockers went 41-13-1 last season and won the American Athletic Conference regular season and tournament titles. They defeated Texas A&M twice in the NCAA softball regional and lost to No. 1 Oklahoma in the championship round.
