IRVING, Texas – Wichita State volleyball sophomore opposite/right side hitter Sophia Rohling was named to the American Athletic Conference All-Conference First Team, it was announced Monday, April 5, by the conference office.
 
A native of Thayer, Kan., Rohling led the Shockers with 3.09 kills per set and 179 kills during the spring season. She also posted a pair of block solos and 40 block assists for 42 total blocks and added 32 digs in her 65 sets and 17 matches played. 
 
She ranked in the top-20 of The American in both hitting percentage (.260) and kills during the spring season. 

Rohling tallied a career-best 27 kills and hit a blistering .328 in WSU's match against Memphis March 4. 
 
She marks the seventh all-conference honoree for Wichita State volleyball since joining The American in 2017.
