BROKEN ARROW, Okla. - Wichita State women's golf sits in fourth place and both Mar Vidal and Madison Slayton are in the Top-20 after two rounds of ORU Spring Invite at The Club at Indian Springs.
 
Mar Vidal shot 77 (+6) in both rounds to sit at T15. She leads the team in birdies with four and is shooting an impressive 4.75 average on par-5s, which is good for third best in the field. Madison Slayton also shot a 77 in the second round and had a similar first round by shooting 7-over par 71. She has avoided shooting double bogeys and has hit par on 21 holes. Slayton also has performed the best on par-4s for the team, only gaining 3 strokes on these holes.
 
Senior Michelle Ledermann finished one shot behind Slayton, sitting at T22. She shot a first round score of 79 (+8) and a second round of 77 (+6.) She led the team with 24 par holes, which was also third in the field. Kenni Henson sits at T24 with a first round of 77 and a second of 80 (+9.)
